Tarpan has some great energy saving devices on offer, such as solar water heating systems, ground heating systems and greywater solutions which re-use water for lawns and gardens.

Solar systems use heat from the sun to work alongside your conventional water heater. The technology is well developed with a large choice of equipment to suit many applications.

Tarpan supplies the high-spec Worcester Greenskies Solar Panel. Part of the Bosch Group, this company’s panels have been designed to complement its existing boilers, especially the Greenstar range of regular and system boilers - providing a highly efficient heating and hot water solution.

Ground Heating

Worcester, together with recognised brands Alpha and Vaillant, also offer a ground heating pump option for your heating and hot water supply.

Like solar panels, this system uses the natural heat from below the earth. It usually consists of an energy collector (pump), a hot water store and a heat delivery system - preferably underfloor heating.

Amazingly, this system is so efficient that Worcester's heat pumps are intended to be the sole source of heating and hot water in the home - giving the householder the option of removing existing traditional boilers. It's a truly 'green' option!
